Feasibility Study For The Modernization Of Tax Administration


Description

C2D, in collaboration with a Canadian firm, was mandated to conduct a feasibility study for the modernization of business processes and the implementation of an integrated tax administration system at the tax department of Togo. Our team analyzed the Client’s strategic objectives, existing legal framework, organizational structure, personnel skill set and current business processes, in order to identify future processes and derive business requirements. The assignment included a survey of available integrated tax administration solutions that would address the tax department’s needs.

A series of recommendations were put forth to allow the Client to modernize tax administration processes and ultimately implement an integrated management information system for State revenue administration. Moreover, the modernization plan of action leading to the implementation of the software solution was drafted, and particular consideration was given to developing sustainable skills for the personnel, allowing them to operate the forthcoming information system in an optimal manner.
