Technical assistance for the testing, design improvement and implementation support for the “Integrated Improvement Model for Secondary Educational Institutions” (MIAES) component


C2D has been awarded an assignment within the “Education and Training for Employability” project financed by the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC). The goal of the project was to increase the employability and employment level of young Moroccans by improving the quality, relevance and fair access to secondary education. These services will facilitate the preparation of the “Secondary Education” activity (collegiate and qualifying), yet to be realized, and more specifically the implementation of an “Integrated Improvement Model for Secondary Educational Institutions” (MIAES).

The technical assistance pertained to the following:
 1.  The conduct of a participative diagnosis and the design of a new type of Integrated Institutional Project (Projet d’Établissement Intégré, PÉi) and performance contract;
 2.  Integrated support for management, pedagogy and infrastructure;
 3.  Capacity reinforcement for decentralized administrative departments.

The structures received the technical assistance are the regional education and training academy (Académie régionale d’éducation et de formation,AREF) of the Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima (TTH) region, the provincial directorates and selected secondary educational institutions. The project is coordinated by the Ministry of National Education and Professional Training (Ministère de l’Éducation Nationale et de la Formation Professionnelle,MENFP).
