C2D, in collaboration with a Canadian firm, was recently awarded the mandate of conducting a feasibility study for the modernization of business processes and the implementation of an integrated tax administration system at the tax department of Togo. Our team will analyze the Client’s strategic objectives, current legal framework, organizational structure, personnel skill set and current business processes, identify future processes and derive business requirements. The assignment includes a survey of available integrated tax administration solutions that would address the tax department’s needs.
A series of recommendations will then be put forth to allow the Client to modernise tax administration processes and implement an integrated management information system for State revenue administration. Moreover, the project plan leading to the implementation of the software solution will be drafted, and particular consideration will be given to developing sustainable skills for the personnel, allowing them to operate the forthcoming information system in an optimal manner.
