Public Finances - BUSINESS WOMEN IN CANADA AND SENEGAL

C2D was honored to participate in the 4th edition of the Economic Forum of Senegal in Canada, held on May 11th, 2018 in Montreal, under the theme "The challenge of natural resource governance: leverage for trade, industrialization and economic transformation".

Women held an important position at the Forum. Ms. Christine St-Pierre, Québec’s Minister of International Relations and of La Francophonie, Ms. Khoudia Mbaye, Senegal’s Minister of Investment Promotion, Partnerships and Development of Government On-line Services and Head of the Senegalese Delegation, and Ms. Viviane Laure Elisabeth Bampassy, Senegal's Ambassador to Canada, gave eloquent and inspiring speeches.

Major Canadian and Senegalese players were also present, particularly in the areas of education and governance.

The Forum was an opportunity to create business and friendship links between representatives of both countries and to highlight the contribution of women in the business world.
