Support to the launch and implementation of the Integrated Establishments Projects of the secondary education on the Tangier – Tetouan - Al Hoceima, Marrakech-Safi and Fez-Meknes regions - MIAES component

C2D Services was awarded an assignment under the « Education and Training for Employability » project, funded by the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), whose implementation of the Compact II was entrusted to the Millennium Challenge Account-Morocco Agency (MCA-Morocco). The project aims to increase the employability and employment levels of young Moroccans by improving the quality, relevance and equity of access to secondary education. The services will facilitate the preparation of the achievement of the « Secondary Education » activity (collegial and qualifying levels), and more specifically the implementation of an "Integrated Model for the Improvement of Secondary Schools /Modèle intégré d’amélioration des établissements de l’enseignement secondaire » (MIAES).

To this end, C2D Services contributed to the design of the « MIAES », for which a deployment on a pilot-basis is planned in 90 schools across the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima, Marrakech-Safi and Fez-Meknes regions.

C2D Services continues its technical assistance by supporting the implementation of Integrated Establishment Projects in 34 secondary schools. The structures targeted for support are the Regional Academy of Education and Training of the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region, the provincial directorates and the selected secondary schools. The project is coordinated by the Ministry of National Education, Vocational Training, Higher Education and Scientific Research.


Technical assistance for the testing, design improvement and implementation support for the “Integrated Improvement Model for Secondary Educational Institutions” (MIAES) component

C2D Services has been awarded an assignment within the “Education and Training for Employability” project financed by the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC). The goal of the project is to increase the employability and employment level of young Moroccans by improving the quality, relevance and fair access to secondary education. These services will facilitate the preparation of the “Secondary Education” activity (collegiate and qualifying), yet to be realized, and more specifically the implementation of an “Integrated Improvement Model for Secondary Educational Institutions” (MIAES).

The technical assistance pertains to the following:
 1.  The conduct of a participative diagnosis and the design of a new type of Integrated Institutional Project (Projet d’Établissement Intégré, PÉi) and performance contract;
 2.  Integrated support for management, pedagogy and infrastructure;
 3.  Capacity reinforcement for decentralized administrative departments.

The structures received the technical assistance are the regional education and training academy (Académie régionale d’éducation et de formation, AREF) of the Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima (TTH) region, the provincial directorates and selected secondary educational institutions. The project is coordinated by the Ministry of National Education and Professional Training (Ministère de l’Éducation Nationale et de la Formation Professionnelle, MENFP).


Support to the management of schools

C2D Services is providing technical support services to Agriteam Canada as it implements its Support to School Management in Morocco project (PAGESM). This project is funded by the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA). The project aims to improve the quality of basic education for Moroccan girls and boys so they can contribute to the knowledge-based economy. The project supports the decentralization and deconcentration of Morocco's education system, down to the level of educational institutions (schools). The project has four components: (1) developing and implementing scholastic institution projects, (2) capacity reinforcement for school principals, (3) building management skills of human resources managers in Morocco's Ministry of Education in the selection and evaluation of school principals, and (4) strengthening equality between women and men in scholastic institution projects.
